John Perry’s Montana Flyfishing offers full day and ½ day float trips and wade trips. All inclusive overnight trips on most of the rivers are also available.

You will be responsible for the purchase of your fishing license. Usually, this can be done on the same day as your trip, on the way to the river.

What We Provide

1) Flies, line, tippet and extra fly rods and reels, as needed.
2) Transportation to and from the rivers.
3) Lunches, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
4) Instruction – as little, or as much as you desire!

What You Need To Bring

1) Hat (wool for cold, broad brim for warm/hot weather)
2) Polarized Sunglasses
3) Layers of Clothing (always bring some cold weather clothes for that "Montana" change. Bring extras)
4) Light Rain Gear
5) Waders, depending on the season
6) Wading Shoes or Sandals
7) Fishing Gear (flies, rods, reels, nippers, floatant, leaders, etc. Bring at least one extra rod and reel. Many items can be purchased at the destination area)
8) Extra eye glasses and eye glass holder
9) Medicines that you need or may need
10) Personal Gear (toothbrush, shaving, etc.)
11) Montana Fishing License (can be bought online or picked up when you arrive)
12) Sun block and Bug Spray
